Description

Ftec are looking to expand our existing team with the addition of a multi trade operative, to work alongside our growing team on carrying out various tasks from installations, repairs, and reactive maintenance.

Competitive rates of pay offered, to be discussed on interview and depending on experience.

Previous experience and knowledge in the construction industry is essential as you will be required to carry out tasks across various trades, such as Plumbing, Carpentry, Joinery, Painting/Decorating, Plastering and Tiling.

You will;

Have the ability to identify Health and Safety actions prior to and during works, considering yourself and those around you.
Be customer focused and be able to adapt to the client's needs.
Deliver a high standard of works to within required timescales.
Have the ability to use appropriate access equipment, although ongoing training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out a range of Reactive Works and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) type activities across the Southwest.
Attend repairs and maintenance appointments on time and complete works on the first occasion, where possible.
Provide accurate information to Helpdesk/Surveyors to be able to update the client, quote for any follow up work required or organise materials required.
Responsible for the safe use and maintenance of the Company's vehicle, equipment, and tools
Remove and take away any waste/debris on a daily basis and upon the completion of any works.
Complete any written or electronic documentation and records including time monitoring to enable the accurate calculation of costs, and update property records.
