Ambitious, hard-working and driven? These are all qualities held by a Barnes Roffe accountancy trainee.

If you have a genuine interest and desire to become a Chartered Accountant then we want to help you achieve your career aspirations.

Our graduate accountant training scheme is designed with the specific purpose of giving you the best of both worlds: fast access to credible learning opportunities and the consideration to allow you to focus on what's important - your studies, whilst at the same time offering hands on client experience.

Key aspects of this trainee role include:

  • To act as a trainee auditor working with a wide range of owner managed businesses
  • Carry out audit work, in compliance with the firm's and statutory procedures.
  • To work collaboratively as part of a team, assisting Seniors and Managers in the delivery of audit assignments

You will study for your ACA qualification over 3 years and build on both your technical skills and your personal and professional development.

Training consists of a combination of study courses based in Central London, private study and regular exams, along-side on-the-job training.

We also provide paid study leave to support you in the run up to exams and your course and exam fees are paid for.

  • A 2.2 degree in any discipline, or equivalent
  • A minimum of 120 UCAS Tariff points from your top 3 Alevels, or equivalent (300 using the old tariff)
  • A minimum of Level 6 (B grade using the old system) in GCSE Maths and English Language, or equivalent
  • The right to work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of the training contract

Start Date:
Early 2023
