Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing meals following standardized recipes and portion sizes
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
  • Oversee food preparation and production in the kitchen
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with other team members to create new menu items and specials
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
  • Excellent cooking skills with the ability to create a wide range of dishes
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£8.86-£15.05 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Larne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Chef or Cook: 1 year (required)
  • Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
