The Opportunity
As a Partnership Support Officer MARAC (Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference) you will collaborate with a range of stakeholders and colleagues including the MARAC chairs, MARAC steering group, MARAC representatives and agencies, and the Domestic Abuse Hub.
You will play a pivotal part in coordinating the MARAC process from start to finish in line with recommended timescales.
You will support the development and delivery of a range of initiatives.You will champion and deliver specialist training, advice, and support to all MARAC agencies to raise the profile and support for victims of domestic abuse across the system and West Sussex.
You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure appropriate implementation of new policies and/or changes to procedures. You will deliver associated briefings, workshops and training programmes, as necessary.
Alongside this, you will be responsible for the coordination of MARACs, meetings and workshops including arranging dates of meetings, drafting minutes and reports and compiling agendas.
About You
You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, communicating on several different levels with multiple stakeholders and adapting your style accordingly.
You will need to be able to balance priorities and deadlines as well as responding to and redirecting enquiries, using your initiative to deal with unexpected problems and situations.
Alongside a customer-focussed approach, you will have the ability to interpret, collate and analyse complex information.
