Technical Consultant (M/F/d)

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Carrying out maintenance process analyses with measures for improvement taking into account Lean principles at customers and Bilfinger internally
  • Preparation and execution of customer meetings up to contract negotiations
  • Responsible participation in the conceptual development and implementation of maintenance concepts or projects
  • Evaluation of the feasibility of maintenance projects, taking into account strategic goals and target markets
  • Project management or support of outsourcing or partnership contracts in close cooperation with our companies at home and abroad
  • Carrying out internal contract audits
  • Active participation in trade fairs and conferences (technical presentations)
  • Codesign and implementation of internal qualification measures for maintenance employees
  • Supporting the operating companies in the implementation of best practice methods and innovations.
  • Development or integration of digital solutions into the core business

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Technical degree (engineering "Service Engineering" or comparable).
  • Knowledge and understanding of Bilfinger guidelines and objectives, in particular Bilfinger Compliance and HSEQ requirements as well as industryspecific safety regulations.
  • Qualified professional experience in the field of technical maintenance of plants, ideally in the process industry sector
  • Practical experience and methodological competence in process analyses (e.g. RCM, FMECA methods)
  • Strong communication personality with a confident manner as well as persuasiveness and assertiveness
  • Team player, especially the ability to promote teamwork as a whole
  • Entrepreneurial thinking with high initiative as well as result orientation
  • Basic training / certification e.g. Lean Management / Six Sigma, REFA, 5S
  • Clear, analytical thinking on a demanding technical level as well as detailoriented and systematic work
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexibility as well as a very high willingness to travel internationally
  • Experience with maintenance software such as SAP, Maximo or similar systems
  • Business fluent in German and English
