Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement engaging lesson plans and learning activities.
Provide targeted support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN) or English as an additional language (EAL).
Assist in the creation and maintenance of a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and learning.
Support classroom management efforts by implementing behavior management strategies and promoting positive interactions among students.
Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and assisting with recordkeeping as needed.
Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge as a teaching assistant.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable.
Possession of an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate is essential.
Availability to work fulltime, Monday to Friday.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of young learners.
