Position Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement engaging lesson plans and learning activities.
  • Provide targeted support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN) or English as an additional language (EAL).
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and learning.
  • Support classroom management efforts by implementing behavior management strategies and promoting positive interactions among students.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and assisting with recordkeeping as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge as a teaching assistant.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable.
  • Possession of an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate is essential.
  • Availability to work fulltime, Monday to Friday.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of young learners.
