We are looking to recruit an Experienced Accounts Assistant to join our closely knit accounts team, using Sage line 50 accounts package.
The role will be predominately purchase ledger, but other accounts work will be required. You will be fully accountable for the whole purchase ledger process, from purchase orders through to invoices and reconciliation.
The role is to provide a professional and efficient service to the finance function, providing accurate financial information to the Senior Team as needed.
This role involves:
- Ensuring 3way matching of purchase orders, goods receipt notes and purchase invoice
- Proactively resolving invoice variances with suppliers
- Manually coding invoices and ensuring all invoices are duly authorised
- Perform regular housekeeping checks and ensure ledgers are tidy
- Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Raising and posting payments
- Raising credits and adjustments
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Carrying out month end procedures
- Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries
- Customer Service
- Petty cash
- General office duties answering telephones, customer enquiries, typing, filing, photocopying and other admin tasks as required
Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,500.00 per year
