Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Independent Reviewing Office to join a recognised IFA.
This is a part time role for 3 days / week.
You will be home based completing Foster Carer annual reviews in their North and Midlands Fostering Service.

Hybrid working is required as first and third foster carer annual reviews are taking place in person either in an office or the foster carer's home, hence you must be prepared to travel.

This IFA has many benefits arising from its commitment as a Social Enterprise to invest heavily in the services it provides to Foster Carers, children, and members of the staff team.

A significant benefit for the person appointed to this post is that they will have a manageable case load and the support and resources to engage positively with foster carers in completing their annual carer reviews.

You will be responsible for:

  • Completion of foster carer annual reviews
  • Quality assurance and action planning
  • Regular meetings with the Registered Service Manager to discuss and address any arising issues from annual reviews.
  • Working within a Trauma informed practice model which is continually evolving in line with research and practice developments.

  • Take part in quarterly Independent Reviewing Officer Meetings.

Salary:
to £43,500 (to be pro rata'd) + generous car allowance of £4,500 and many other benefits
