Responsible to:

Main purpose of Job:
Prepare, cook and present food efficiently and to a high standard Person Specification:

Essential Requirements:

• Have proof of right to work in the UK
• Have a bank account in your own name
• Be able to converse in English
• Obtain excellent skills in written English and Maths
• Have a fixed place of residence & live within reasonable traveling distance to place of work, taking into consideration travel when public transport is not available
• Minimum Level 2 in food preparation
• Valid Level 2 Food and Hygiene Certificate

Main Duties:

• To report for duty on time and in the correct uniform.
• To ensure that the kitchen area is kept clean at all times.
• Follow rigidly and observe all hygiene regulations.
• Prepare, cook and present food, quickly and effectively to our standards.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment, monitor and deal with any maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate foodordering and stock levels, including all kitchen materials
• To deal with any customer complaints in a professional manner and to notify

- management of these.

• To ensure that the customers needs and requirements are met.
• Manage wastage through correct product measurement
• To ensure that all reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself,

other employees and customers.

• To observe all safety procedures and rules.
• To attend all training courses as notified to you by management.
• Always adhere to all company policies and procedures
• To carry out any other duties as may be notified to you by management.
• To be aware and comply with company policy regarding: Fire, Health & Safety, Hygiene, Food Hygiene, Customer Care & Security.
