We have an exciting opportunity for a Front of House Administrator to join our Academy to cover maternity leave.

This position will primarily be to provide administrative support to the whole school, this will include Reception work, ensuring an outstanding level of service is given to all our customers.

Working hours are 08:30am - 16:30pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an Ofsted rated 'Good' academy. The academy is part of United Learning, a national group of schools and academies. Sheffield Park Academy is an 11-18 school.

Main duties will include:


  • To provide administrative support to the whole school.
  • Front of house reception duties, providing an outstanding first point of service to internal and external customers.
  • To assist in arranging and booking of school trips and educational visits.
  • Typing letters, reports, class lists, curriculum documents, forms for support services etc.
  • To support in our student shop, Student Services with cash handling responsibilities and being a friendly point of contact for our students.
  • To assist in First Aid administration.
  • To communicate with visitors, take telephone calls, relay messages to staff and pupils.
  • To receive and dispatch school mail and contact parents/carers and other external agencies.
