Programme Manager (PaaS Decommissioning) - 12 months - Outside IR35

The role:


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Programme Manager to undertake a 12-month engagement, overseeing the decommissioning of this Government Institutions Platform as a Service (PaaS) programme.

Experience in programme management of digital programmes that require technical Governance and delivery is of key importance. This role is Outside IR35, paying £750 per day and can be undertaken on a remote basis.

This is an opportunity to work at the centre of digital public sector overseeing and having ownership of the decommissioning of a big GDS programme.


Experience, capabilities & deliverables:


  • Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • Set up effective programme governance, which permits for the regular tracking and reporting of decommissioning activities.
  • Develop the programme into a solid sequence of activities, with a clear, unambiguous backlog for the PaaS and external teams.
  • Ensure all senior management and external stakeholders, including each individual tenant and the wider government body, are all successfully engaged and aligned.
  • Hel to drive the required rigour into the delivery of the programme and mitigate ongoing shortcomings.
