You will work as an Events Logistics Manager for a vibrant media company who specialise in finance events across Africa.
This role will involve travel booking, liaising with suppliers and reconciling data to ensure the events run smoothly. You will get frequentexciting trips to Africa as a result.Client Details
Description
As the Events Logistics Manager, you will:
- Liaise with clients to find out their exact event requirements
- Produce detailed proposals for events (for example, timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
- Research venues, suppliers and contractors, then negotiating prices and hire
- Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics (for example, venue, catering, travel and VIP Logistics)
- Liaise with Corporate Communications & PR team to promote the event and attract sponsorship.
Profile
- Be organised and have excellent attention to detail
- Coordinated travel and/or events in the past
- Have good MS office skills
- Be able to travel to Africa when required
Job Offer
You will be rewarded with an hourly rate equivallent of 30k-35k and a permanent role if you excel.
