Education Department:
We are seeking a part-time Research Trainee (0.4FTE, 14.8 hours per week) to work on a 12 month ESRC funded study: Developing a longitudinal qualitative approach to studying families including children with chromosomal learning disabilities and children growing up in violent homes.

This project is based in the Psychology in Education Research Centre (PERC) and the Centre for Research in Education and Social Justice (CRESJ) and is led by Prof Kathryn Asbury (PI) and Profs Carole Torgerson and Vanita Sundaram (Co-Is).
The post is available immediately, until 30 April 2024.Role:
Skills, Experience & Qualification needed:
- First degree in Sociology, Gender Studies, Education, Psychology, Public Health, Criminology or a related discipline
- Excellent qualitative research skills including interviewing, coding and analysis
- The role is likely to suit a finalstage PhD student
