leading data scouting and evaluation service, dedicated to finding value-adding data for strategists
and data science professionals across industries. In just six years, Neudata has grown to the be the
number one provider of data scouting services to the financial services industry globally and is now
gearing up to continue its rapid growth by launching new products and entering new market segments
and verticals (including professional services, government and corporate data buyers).
Neudata is looking for a head of marketing to serve as a one-year maternity cover, starting in July or
August 2023.
In this role, you will manage a small team (one direct report, one indirect report, contractors and
agencies) to execute and develop Neudata's marketing strategy, including lead generation and brand
awareness programmes. This role reports to Neudata's chief commercial officer.
You will create our marketing plan and budget for 2024, and you and your team will execute our
You will also be responsible for the development of marketing content for use by Neudata's sales and
research teams, including product collateral, slide decks, online content (working with external
copywriters), etc.
This is very much a player-coach position, and your role will encompass campaign execution as well as
campaign design and marketing planning. A solid knowledge of SEO / SEM will be essential, for
instance. More broadly, you will have expertise in using compelling content to drive marketing
objectives - as a content business we will have lots of material for you to use

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create the annual marketing plan and budget for 2024
to drive lead generation and brand awareness

  • Manage Neudata's attendance at external events; make recommendations on where to deploy
a six-figure events budget

  • Handle communications strategy for all new product launches
  • Work with inhouse design team to design and update marketing collateral
  • Liaise with an external design agency to deliver the final stages of a new marketing website
  • Act as brand guardian for the organisation, advising on the use of brand assets
  • Ensure editorial consistency across content published on Neudata's loggedin and loggedout
  • Manage Neudata's press relationships with US and UKbased journalists

YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • 510 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably within a contentdriven context
  • At least two years of line management and functional leadership experience
  • A demonstrated ability to manage digital media campaigns (SEO, paid search)
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • A keen interest in the world of investment management and the ways in which access to data
is changing the industry

  • BA in marketing or related field
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
