    Description

    art-K, a leading private art education service, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to lead arty family workshops during weekends.

    The role plays a crucial part in ensuring the success of each 2-hour family art workshop session. Responsibilities include:

    1. Creating an ambient studio environment for the workshop, setting music and preparing projects.
    2. Leading engaging and inspiring art workshops catering to various skill levels and age ranges.
    3. Maintaining high cleanliness standards by tidying up the studio after each class.

    Supporting children to complete their art projects while encouraging creativity and experimentation.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of a second-year student in an Art-related university course.
    • Strong proficiency in various art mediums including watercolour, acrylics, and air-dried clay.
    • Proven experience working with children from Year 1 (aged 5-6) and upwards.
    • A positive, proactive, and customer-service-oriented attitude.

    Qualifications:

    • Art A level and Foundation (desired).
    • A DBS check facilitated by art-K.

    Training includes shadowing/assisting family workshops prior to leading your first family workshop.
