Senior Solutions Architect

£69,000 + £6,000car allowance

Manchester or Stoke on Trent (Hybrid)
I am looking for a Senior Solutions Architect for a well-known organisation within the Northwest of England.


Reporting directly into the Head of IT, The Senior Solutions Architect will be responsible for the delivery of systems strategy & technical governance.

You'll provide technical expertise on solution design and development, owning and maintaining IT roadmapsacross all business services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Line management of the architecture team
  • Ensure new programs align to architecture principles, & manage ongoing evolution of architecture governance
  • Accountable for the design of technical solutions to meet Business requirements.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to translate how IT services can support business growth
  • Provide technical leadership to the delivery teams on solution selection & best practice
  • Provide mentoring and coaching for the architecture function & to colleagues in IT who are looking to develop their skills.
  • Create, maintain & manage architectural artefacts, ensuring solutions are well documented so knowledge can be transitioned to support teams during service acceptance process.

My client has Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent locations. This role can mainly be done remotely with travel to either location a few times a month.
