Frieze is part of Endeavor, a global entertainment, sports and content company, home to the world's most dynamic and engaging storytellers, brands, live events and experiences.


Frieze is a modern and contemporary art media and events company that comprises three magazines: Frieze, Frieze Masters Magazine and Frieze Week; and four international art fairs: Frieze London, Frieze Masters, Frieze New York and Frieze Los Angeles.

Additionally, Frieze organizes a program of special courses and lectures in London through Frieze Academy.


What You'll Do:


As an Intern, you'll be embedded in the department and have the chance to participate in the daily operations and assist on projects that have a real impact on our business.

You'll perform administrative duties, work on department-specific research projects, and support the team with ad-hoc daily tasks.

Interns may be asked to complete an end of summer assignment or pitch (either individually or in assigned teams) utilizing the knowledge they have acquired over the course of the summer.


As well as providing Interns the chance to learn from industry experts, you'll also have the opportunity to participate in Endeavor wide events and build upon your industry network; this includes a welcome/farewell, speaker series, career planning workshops, team projects, and other valuable initiatives throughout the 8 weeks you're with us.


Endeavor's 2023 Internship Programme will be conducted in-person and run for 8 weeks from Monday 3rd July 2023 until Friday 25th August 2023.

This is a 40 hour per week, paid internship position, and will be based at Surrey Street, London.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • Assisting with the digital archiving of frieze's back catalogue
  • Attending regular editorial meetings and taking minutes
  • Assisting the editorial coordinator with factchecking and proofing for print issues
  • General office admin support for the London team
  • Assisting with events organization in Europe

You Will Have The Following Strengths:

  • Some experience in or enthusiasm for arts, culture and news publications.
  • Acute attention to detail, veracity and quality.
  • An enthusiastic and friendly manner, and a willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft systems, including Teams, Outlook, Word, etc.
  • An excellent multitasker and have proven problemsolving abilities
  • Able to prioritize workload and use their time efficiently
  • Be committed to the programme to both your departmental work and the extracurricular activities
  • Maintain professionalism and always represent Endeavor in a positive manner (including onsite at events and tours)

Important Dates:

  • 7th March: Applications close.
  • 31st March: Roles will be filled on a rolling basis, with the goal of extending all offers by this date.
  • 3rd July: Internship starts
  • 25th August: Internship ends
