Training Hub Administration Officer

Job summary


The post holder will support a portfolio of projects relating to the delivery of education and training and workforce development across Birmingham Solihull ICS (BSol Integrated Care System) working with key stakeholders including, but not limited to, BSOL ICS, primary care employers, Primary Care Networks, Health Education England (HEE), health education institutes (HEI), and NHS England.


The Training Hub Administration Officer will assist the Learning and Development team in organising and scheduling training and continuing professional development (CPD) sessions including management of the training diary, locations, bookings, trainers, website and finance.

The individual will demonstrate a commitment to high standards of service delivery and training.


The post holder is responsible for providing administrative support for the Training Hub, acting as the first point of contact and as a focal point of communication between Training Hub.


Key responsibilities
The post holder will be employed to deliver duties and responsibilities as listed on behalf of South Doc Services, SDS Training and Education and SDSmyhealthcare:

Support with Learning and Development activities, which includes:

  • Arranging training as requested, booking rooms, noting attendance and non-attendance to relevant records.
  • Create and report on training needs analysis
  • Generating certificates, completing post training/event tasks including collating evaluation and maintaining the relevant records
  • Assisting with communication and engagement plan activities
- which includes creating content for social media platforms and newsletter

  • Supporting with daily training queries and set up.
  • Support with TH finance activities from training events, sending invoices to Finance team and updating relevant records
Provide support as required to both trainers and delegates at training sessions/events/conferences held by the Training Hub

Support with SDSTraining and Education activities: arranging Basic Life Support and Venepuncture Training

Secretarial duties for the professional network meetings and other board meetings
- including taking minutes, creating and disseminating agendas, setting up team meetings and general diary management

Coordinating Training Hub meetings, making notes and recording actions and update team activities

Ensure data information input is carried out in a timely, efficient and accurate manner. Collect data and update database and create reports

Provide administration support for setting up learning and development systems

Provide administrative support to all the Training Hub team and implementing new systems

Supporting with creating resources for practices and other key stakeholders

Contacting practices and engaging with other key stakeholders

Handle other telephone and general enquiries, taking messages where necessary

Any other delegated duties considered appropriate for the post

  • Provide appropriate communication to identify problems and solutions promptly
