Your New Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Cleaning Working Team Leader to join our Ministry of Justice (MoJ) account in HMP Sudbury Ashbourne Road Derbyshire DE6 5HW this role is based on-site.
The salary is £21,081.06.

Cleaning Working Team Leader plays an important part in ensuring the working and living environment within the prisons is safe and clean.
The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week.

You will be responsible for:
- Supervise cleaners within your team, carrying out basic people management activit
- Lead by example, demonstrate best practise at all times, ensure that all duties are completed in the time provided to a high standard
- Work according to legislative regulations i.e ensuring the correct use of colour coded equipment
- Comply with Internal and External HSEA requirements RAMs and COSHH
- Carry out bi
- Control stock levels and order consumables to ensure service delivery through the correct channels
- Operate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
- Carry out any reasonable requests that are directed by your line manager
- This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
- Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.

The impact your supervision and cleaning service will have on those who live and work in prisons. Prison Security Clearance will be required (Amey will support you through this process).
We want to hear from you if you are/have:
- Must have supervisor/ team leader cleaning experience.
- Be able to work independently and use own initiative, demonstrating a reliable and responsible approach
- Welcome the opportunity to learn and support others
- IOSH managing safely
- 3 years+ industry skill
- Comfortable working in a prison environment
- Environmental awareness
In addition to this, it would be desirable if you have a facilities maintenance background with experience in large buildings and sites to help you hit the ground running, although this is not essential as we will provide you with the required development you need to bring you up to speed.
