Job Vacancy Available:

We are looking for a Production assembler to join our friendly team here at Bytec on a full time basis.

The role will consist of both mechanical and electromechanical assembly using basic hand tools to assemble mobile workstations, roll stands, mounting solutions, battery systems along with a whole host of products.

Full job role training will be provided.

You will be based at our newly refurbished facility in Washington, West Sussex approximately 15-20 min drive from Horsham and Worthing.

Requirements:

Valid UK driving license
Educated to GCSE level with passes in English and Mathematics
Basic understanding of identifying and using hand tools
Interest in mechanical / Electronic engineering & assembly (not essential)
Previous Soldering and wiring skills ideal (but not essential)

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Mechanical & electromechanical product assembly following both written and verbal instructions
Assist with wiring/cabling tasks using crimp tools and soldering skills
Modification of parts for production
Identifying & reporting design or supplier quality issues
Assist with picking and packing orders within the warehouse
Assist with organising and maintaining warehouse and production rooms
Assist with Inspection of goods received
Continuous improvement projects as directed
Possible on site maintenance tasks as and when required

Salary:
£20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
