Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative who will be responsible for ensuring the warehouse operations perform well and that targets are met for an initial 6 month contract, there is potential for this to become a permanent role depending on the individual.


TASKS:

-
Stock Control_

  • Receiving all goods in and entering into bespoke database.
  • Maintain stock in specified locations.
  • Maintain quality, batch control and traceability of products.
  • Filing of Goods receipts (delivery notes)
  • Performing stock check and warehouse inventory using the tools and systems provided, carrying out stock transfers as and when needed.
  • Keep the working area / stores free of hazards as per the company's health and safety policy, reporting any potential dangers to management.

Goods Out_

  • Accurately pick stock items in accordance with the engineer orders
  • Adequately package all orders for safe collection or delivery.
  • Liaise with the appointed 3rd party carriers and ensure local goods are delivered utilising approved delivery vehicle.

General_

  • Maintain accurate records, carry out stock transfers etc.
  • Prepared to undertake any internal or external training as required and to undertake any other duties, from time to time.
  • Taking reasonable care for your own Health and Safety and the Health and Safety of others who may be affected by your actions.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant Quality standards/procedures on your site.
  • Providing stock reports for monthly Board meetings

SKILLS:


  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Driving licence
  • Good IT skills
  • Good levels of numeracy and literacy
  • Strong organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
Proposed hours of work are 10.30am to 16.30pm, however, there is potential for some flexibility in the hours and duration worked which can be discussed at interview


Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months

£12.00 per hour
