Qualitair Aviation are delighted to be recruiting a Production Control Team Leader for one of our Industry leading Clients in Hayes, Heathrow


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all appraisals for the department are completed on time.
  • Ensure all time sheets are returned for the department in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all aspects of the database are kept updated.
  • Embrace and actively improve LEAN processes.
  • Ensure all KPI targets for the department are met and adhered too.
  • Have set goals and achievements for the production/Material control areas.
  • Coordinate the marshalling of all components in readiness to the production schedule.
  • Coordinate staff to deliver on time to plan.
  • Ensure all staff are gainfully employed.
  • Move staff as necessary to cover workload.
  • Attend and when required run production meetings.
  • Work with Planning Manager to develop a recovery plan if failure to deliver is likely.
  • All other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:


  • GCSE or Equivalent required.
  • Apprenticeship desirable.
  • Broadbased knowledge of CAA/FAA/JAR requirements.
  • Proven experience of production planning.
  • Good communicator
- ability to communicate with staff on business, and other issues that affect the business.

  • Good understanding of excel and word packages.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety working practices.
  • Assisting in the resolution of production issues to achieve on time delivery.
  • Evidence of people management
  • Able to lead and build teams.
  • Good PC literate.
  • Must be willing to work shifts.
