CNC Setter/Operator

Permanent Staff | Musselburgh

Full time - 37 hours per week (Will be expected to work day shift and back shift)

Manufacturers of aerospace components in line with customer requirements.

The Role


To produce precision components from drawings using CNC machines whilst working to tight tolerances and checking your own work meets the required standard.


The work will include the following:
Competently set and operate CNC machines

Produce accurate, high quality, components with maximum efficiency

Quality check all finished jobs

Clean and maintain CNC machine and all associated equipment and machine area.


  • Fully skilled CNC setter/operator
  • Experience in any of the following
  • 3 Axis / 5 axis milling
Sliding head lathes

CNC centre lathes


  • Able to interpret engineering drawings
  • Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
Reward


Pay:
£12.50-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
