The Role:


To work as part of the Patient Support team to provide exceptional customer care and an efficient administration service for the patients of Oxford Fertility.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join our busy clinic in Oxford Fertility.


The person appointed will be responsible for the provision of a customer-focused and efficient front-line reception service to warmly greet our patients and staff to TFP Oxford Fertility.

The successful applicant will be of a professional appearance, articulate, be proactive with good communication and IT skills, and have a pleasant telephone manner.


This role is a 6 Month Fixed term contract - full time working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities:


  • As first point of contact, to give a professional, friendly and efficient frontline reception service to patients, staff and visitors attending Oxford Fertility in person for appointments.
  • To provide general information and assistance to patients, visitors and staff.
  • To ensure the reception and waiting room are kept clean and tidy.
  • To maintain confidentiality at all times and adhere to the HFEA Code of Practice and Guidelines.
  • Work closely with other departments within the clinic.
  • Ensure consent forms have been scanned on correctly and are legible on patient management system for future reference.
  • Prepare consent forms for archive offsite and ensure we have an accurate record of what is being stored.

Essential Skills:


  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to communicate with a wide variety of individuals
  • GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent qualification)
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Willingness to learn
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent attention to detail
