HR A vacancy has arisen for a Health and Safety Advisor at the University of Bradford, the role is specific to providing support within the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics.

The main duties under this role will include (but are not restricted to):

Undertaking of Health & Safety activities to support achievement of the University's H & S Strategy, Policy, and Objectives;
Support the Head of H & S in providing the University management team with clear, pragmatic, accurate, timely and decisive guidance, advice, and solutions on H & S matters
Act as the main point of contact for the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics (FoEI).

You will ideally have experience of working in a similar role and be qualified to Diploma level in Health and Safety as a minimum, and hold membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. IOSH at Graduate level).

It is essential that you are able to prioritise your workload and manage conflicting deadlines without close supervision.

You must be a team player with excellent communication skills to enable you to integrate and be a part the central H & S team.

You will work collaboratively within both the Faculty and H & S team to solve complex Health and Safety issues.

You should have excellent IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office.
