The Role of Content & Social Media Manager


This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative content writer where you are free to experiment and be part of an award-winning business.


  • Working directly with the Head of Marketing
  • Working closely with the SEO Manager
  • Writing content across three sectors for both B2C and B2B
  • Managing social media channels and conducting social media research
  • Write both short and long form content for the company's website blogs, articles, instruction forms, online registration forms ect.
  • Research around tasks to write an informative and convincing pitch.
  • Implementation of SEO content

Award-winning DNA, Drug, Alcohol and Health testing laboratory. They provide a wide range of testing services to the members of the public, legal and workplace sector.


For the Content & Social Media Manager Position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Previous experience within Journalism and Content management.

  • Ideal background, PR agency or in house content writer
  • Journalism or English Literature degree preference
  • Hands on can juggle multiple tasks at once
  • Great personality passionate around creating informative stories
  • Can work under pressure self management
  • Strong content writing skills across both digital and offline.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Manage and implement organic social media strategy
  • Absorb and retain information quickly

Remuneration & Benefits for Content & Social Media Manager:


Salary:
£30,000 to £35,000

Hybrid working - Currently working 1 day a month in office, this could change.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays p/a
