As a Veson Nautical Recruiter, you will be a driver in bringing new talent to a growing, global, fast-paced team.

You will work across both our core business and technology teams to drive top talent to our current openings and to build pipelines for future opportunities.


This position is a great role for someone who is excited to help build teams that have been historically challenging to fill and is driven by the idea of making a material impact within a thriving market-leading organization with a global reach.


Responsibilities include:


  • Proactively research and assess the viability of new recruiting opportunities via benchmarking and talent market research, and make recommendations on new sourcing approaches
  • Utilize data and metrics from sourcing activities to provide insights and recommendations to continuously improve the recruitment process.
  • Research and gather market intelligence to understand and execute against shifts in the marketplace that present recruiting opportunities; this includes networking with industry contacts, colleagues, trade groups, etc. to maintain knowledge base and generate leads
  • Assist in the recruiting lifecycle on an asneeded basisincluding scheduling, booking travel, recruiting and campus events, and generating data and reports.
  • Promote an environment that supports our company values and diversity to enrich our company culture.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience sourcing for international roles based in both APAC and EMEA regions a plus
  • Strong understanding of sourcing methods and strategies
  • Previous experience recruiting for both Sales and Technical roles
  • Professional, polished, reliable in addition to a flexible approach
  • Absolute discretion pertaining to confidential information
  • Selfstarter attitude and enthusiasm when working independently and as part of a team
  • High sense of urgency, drive and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Keen ability to follow instructions and understand those instructions with little or no follow up
  • Ability to properly multitask and prioritize work by considering its risk, importance, urgency, and potential business, organizational, or client implications
  • Experience working at rapidly growing technologyfocused startup company preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience
