Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Legal Secretary to join our Conveyancing team. As a Legal Secretary, you will provide administrative support to the Head of Conveyancing. This is a full-time position based in [Location].
Hours: 09:30 - 17:30hrs
Duties:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars
- Prepare legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and contracts
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Assist with the preparation of trial materials and exhibits
- Coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner
- Manage confidential information with discretion
Skills:
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in IT systems and software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Audio typing
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Job Types:

£28,000.00-£32,500.00 per year
