Are you an experienced and well-rounded IT Professional who has experience of testing methodologies and tools in an Agile environment? Do you have excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills?


Having acquired multiple businesses in the past year, the WorkNest team is growing fast, so we're looking for a enthusiastic Systems Tester to join our Software Development Team.


Why your role matters


The Systems Tester will be a key member of our software development team, responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software developed by the team.

As a new role for our team, the Systems Tester will play a critical role in helping us deliver high-quality software by identifying and prioritising testing activities, creating and maintaining test plans and test cases, executing tests, and reporting and tracking defects.

The Systems Tester will work closely with the rest of the software development team, including developers, product owners, and other stakeholders, to provide feedback on the quality of the software and ensure that it meets the user requirements and acceptance criteria.


What you'll be doing

The Systems Tester will work closely with the rest of the software development team, including developers, product owners, and other stakeholders, to provide feedback on the quality of the software and ensure that it meets the user requirements and acceptance criteria.


You'll collaborate with the development to ensure that our software meets the requirements of our users and the quality standards, as well as execute a variety of testing techniques including functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure the software meets the specified quality standards.


Where you'll be working


This is a hybrid role (a minimum of two days per week in our Chester office, with the rest of the week remote).

That way, you'll be able to work collaboratively with your colleagues while also having some quieter time to focus on your workload without distraction.
