Marketing Administrator

Location - Southampton, Hampshire

Salary - £20,500 a year

Hours hours a week (Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm)

Executive Summary:

Salon Supplies is a professional hair and beauty supplier, and we are looking for a Marketing Administrator to join our team in an entry level role.

Purpose of your new role:

To assist the marketing team in a variety of administrative and small design tasks that support the sales of the company online & offline while strengthening the Salon Supplies brand.

Key job accountabilities:

• Provide full administration support to the Marketing Team
• Adhoc small design tasks such as press releases, posters and price lists
• Assisting with larger design tasks such as brochures and catalogues
• Keep up to date on industry trends and talking points
• Help with the organisation and sharing of sales tools (such as point of sale, etc)
• Help keep the website up to date with price changes, offers, deals, out of stocks and new products
• Improve and optimise existing website content (text and imagery)
• Research and document competitor pricing and online activity
• Office and administration work as required e.g. collating invoices, proofreading, copying and CRM tasks
• Other adhoc duties as may be necessary

The network you would work with:

The Salon Supplies Marketing Team (including the Senior Design and Marketing Executive and the Senior Digital Marketing Executive), Company Directors, Senior Management Team, Sales Consultants, Depot Managers and customers.

Other external organisations e.g. Suppliers.

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Good communication skills
• Strong English language skills (spelling, grammar, etc)
• Confident with a PC
• Confident with Microsoft Word and Excel

You are interested in learning various aspects of marketing and the representation of a brand through printed and digital channels.

You check your work thoroughly and are careful with spelling and grammar.

You have an interest in hair care, styling and or colour.

You enjoy working in a small team and have an excellent telephone manner and are professional in face-to-face environments.

This is an entry level role with the salary reflecting the minimum wage increase in April 2023.
