Overview:
Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.

Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.

We are seeking Duty Support Volunteers to join our growing team of volunteers, and make a real difference._**
Responsibilities:
Volunteering at Change Grow Live

Volunteers contribute to Change Grow Live in a variety of ways. From Admin Volunteers to Service User Reps, from Peer Mentors to Healthcare Support Volunteers, from Independent Visitors to Community Mentors each volunteer brings a unique set of skills and talents. We are incredibly grateful for all that volunteers do to support our service users.
Most of our volunteer opportunities don't need any special qualifications. We'll make sure you get all the training and support you need. All we ask is that you're kind, openminded and passionate about supporting people.
Everyone is welcome at Change Grow Live. As a volunteer you will be treated with respect and accepted for who you are. You don't need to have personal experience of drug and alcohol recovery to get involved

Please see the below interview times and date, also, times and dates for required training, it is essential you can attend all of the below training dates.

Interview Dates:

25th - 31st August 2023

Training Dates:

Training will be held every Tuesday from 10am-2pm, between 05/09/ /10/2023

Attendance on training dates is an essential part for the volunteer role, please check training dates and your availability to attend all training sessions, all training is QLS accredited.

Training modules:

Mandatory: Volunteer induction training: 05/09/ am4pm (full day)
Mandatory: Boundaries/Confidentiality training: 12/09/ am2pm
Required: Alcohol awareness training: 19/09/ am2pm
Required: Drug awareness training: 26/09/ am2pm
Required: Harm reduction training: 03/10/ am2pm
Required:

Naloxone Training: 10/10/ am-12pm
