Business Support Officer£11.50 Per Hour

Job Role
Provide, with the team, efficient and effective secretarial and administrative support, including handling enquiries, word processing, record keeping and correspondence.
Where appropriate provide secretarial support, and take notes at meetings, for the Head of Service, Activity Managers and other Officers.
Main Responsibilities- To provide administrative support to the Flying Start Team
- To assist the Business Support Manager in undertaking necessary administrative duties as required by the team.
- To provide a telephone and office reception service, recording messages and referring on as appropriate.
- To maintain relevant manual and electronic record systems
- To produce statutory document, forms, reports and letters using word processing skills.
- To open, date stamp, sort incoming mail.
- To maintain booking diaries/inventories for equipment, rooms, resources etc.
- Experience of office and administration/reception duties
- Maintaining filing systems and documentation relating to a building
- Experience of using electronic data storage systems
- Knowledge of IT packages including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
