Production Planning Assistant Job - Food Manufacturing

The Job:

As a Production Planning Assistant, you will be an important part of our Clients site sales and planning team.

Your primary focus will be ensuring that all components of their supply chain align seamlessly to meet the company's commercial goals.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders to guarantee the availability of raw materials, maintain optimal stock levels, and contribute to the overall efficiency of their production processes.

Salary: £24000£28000 DOE

About the Job:

Utilise planning tools to ensure the availability of raw materials for product manufacturing.
Accurately enter planned sales volumes into production plans.
Maintain and record daily KPI data to monitor performance.
Optimise stock levels to ensure efficient operations.
Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external teams.
Provide timely reports highlighting stock imbalances.
Effectively manage stock levels within product life and available storage capacity.

About you:

Previous Strong Coordination and Administration experience ( From a food manufacturing business a bonus but not essential we will train you)
You could be a senior operative, QC, Team Leader, or Technical role in Food manufacturing currently
Proficiency in IT, including MS Office and other relevant software.
Strong numeracy skills and comfortable working with figures.
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and remain composed under pressure and tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in clear and accurate English.
Proactive problemsolving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying and addressing potential issues.

£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
