We're looking for a Multi-skilled Carpenter to join our Empty Homes team. Contractually based out of Basingstoke, you'll be working around North Hampshire and surrounding areas. This is a full time, permanent role, working 39 hours per week.

Here's the facts about the role:As a carpenter multi, you'll carry out high quality repairs, maintenance and refurb works on our properties. This'll mostly be in floor laying and carpentry, but you'll carry out other skilled works which may include tiling, plastering, decorating, basic plumbing etc. This role will involve some light admin duties and the use of an electronic handheld device.


Ideally you'll be qualified to NVQ level 3 in carpentry (or equivalent) and will need to provide proof of your qualifications at interview stage - however qualified by experience may be considered.

You'll have demonstrable experience of working in a multi-skilled role.

We do our best to make reasonable adjustments wherever possible.

However, due to the nature of this position, the job holder must be capable of:


  • Working at heights
  • Manual handling and lifting heavy and bulky items
  • A high degree of mobility, which will include walking/lifting/loading and unloading vehicles
