A vacancy has arisen within our Mobile & Crawler Crane department based in Biggleswade for a After Sales Administrator - Warranty.

The role contributes to the success of Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd by ensuring maximum commercial recovery from service engineers' times. To participate in minimising the work-in-progress in relation whilst working within the Company's key result areas;
Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership

Your Responsibilities:


  • Establish and maintain good communication and effective relationship between customers, suppliers, factories and internal departments in the UK and Ireland
  • To question and manage the acceptability or validity of a warranty component, warranty claim or service exchange request at any stage in the process and react properly and effectively regarding the criteria laid down by our suppliers in respect of warranty provision.
  • The checking of the accuracy of warranty, policy and service exchange claims and ensuring that the labour, materials, spare parts, subcontract all other cost items claimed, are valid, evidenced, and justifiable.
  • To participate in the effective management of the flow of returned parts from the company through the incompany system back to the suppliers in support of warranty, policy, and service exchange claims.
  • The preparation of clear, concise, and accurate claims of all types to our suppliers with the key aim of maximising recovery to Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd.
  • Ensuring all return parts, labels and documentation are correctly prepared and in order.
  • Participation in the development of incompany IT systems that may be introduced and implemented from time to time.
  • The raising of credit notes, both incompany and to customers and suppliers.
  • The preparation of letters to customers advising of warranty, policy, and service exchange decision outcomes.
  • Filing and organising documentation in a manner that facilitates easy retrieval and also in accordance with the company systems.
  • Participating in and contributing to good teamwork necessary to provide our customers with excellent product support.
  • Undertake other tasks that may be required from time to time by Liebherr
  • Great Britain Ltd. This includes assisting as required the main reception and telephone duties on a shared rota basis.
  • Undertake to attend meetings and exhibitions offsite and overseas. This may include time spent away from home overnight.
  • Undertake training as required by the company from time to time, both at the workplace and off site, including overseas.
  • Undertake all work in accordance with the company's Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental policies and arrangements. Prepare risk assessments and method statements, and implement safe systems of work as necessary.

Your Profile:


  • Ideally have experience in the construction plant or transport industry, possibly in a parts, warranty or service environment.
  • A minimum of 3 GCSE passes or equivalent including Mathematics and English
