Job Title:
Problem & Change Analyst


Location:
Peterborough/Remote - Hybrid Working

Have you got experience of working in an IT function looking at delivering problem and change analysis, identifying problems that affect operational performance and investigating, mitigating and resolving issues with an analytical reduction of risk-basedapproach? If so, join our team today


You will analyse data from of ticket system to identify trends, spikes and frequency/severity of incidents to support with the prioritisation for resolving problems that will have business impact.

You will provide regular updates to the teams and producereports based on your finding that will overall contribute to strategic decisions on how to resolve and understand root causes to prevent re-occurrence and mitigate future risk.

Some of the things you will have responsibility for and be part of:

  • Investigating issues with business units and third-party providers
  • Proposing actions and developing plans for resolution
  • Logging all problems through ITSM tool (Assyst)
  • Present proposals where required to Change Advisory Board (CAB)
- implementation of actions as agreed by the CAB

  • Prepare comprehensive reports and clear documentation of actions taken for future evidence
  • Take part in meetings taking ownership for actions and updates within area
  • Monitor feedback on customer service and complaints
To be successful we're looking for the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Qualification or equivalent experience in computer science
  • ITIL Foundation Stage
  • Knowledge/Experience of ILIL service management/implementation
  • Demonstratable experience in a IT/Technical role where customer service is key ideally working with a number of stakeholders
  • Excellent data analysis stills and experience of using Excel
  • Previous experience of implementing technical changes
  • Understanding of M365 and Azure products would be advantageous

Location
Hybrid, a mix of office and homeworking.
This role will be based at our Peterborough offices on the Lynchwood Business Park.

The office has recently been renovated and along with a modern work environment has great public transport links, free onsite parking,free drink facilities and a great team culture.
