Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and process permits for street works and network coordination projects.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including contractors and other authorities, to ensure the smooth execution of street works.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to optimise network coordination.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders involved in the permitting process.

About you:


You'll be that person with an exceptional attention to detail, serving as the gatekeeper for those who work on our roads.

You'll take pride in meticulously ensuring that roadworks and street works are coordinated effectively.

It's important to us that you're a team player - we're a close-knit team, and we all pull together to keep things moving.


As a Network Coordination Assistant Officer, you'll need to be proactive with an eye for detail ensuring network clashes are avoided and permits have the correct conditions.

You will be liaising with external works promoters, contractors, partners, and colleagues.

It's key that you can provide excellent customer service and have an aptitude for working collaboratively with colleagues and partners in problem-solving and making informed and insightful decisions.


  • A passion for improving enhancing street works and network coordination.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
