About The Role:

Maintain the print room efficiently as possible ensuring all customer labels are at the specification that is required.

Print all labels efficiently and to the specification required for daily production orders, over pack and intakes.
Scan all labels making sure they are printed correctly.
Ensure that all label check procedures are followed at all times and signed by the correct personnel before ANY labels leave the print room.
Record any printing errors caused by wrong information for further references or invoicing.
Responsible for labels and cleaning material stock reconciliations.
Update and maintain daily check sheets.
To ensure cleanliness of printing equipment and working area clean as you go
Ensure all company requirements with regards to the safety, quality and legality of the product are adhered to.
To ensure food safety and quality related procedures are adhered to by all operatives.
To ensure the production line is kept clean posing no risk of food safety.
To ensure clean as you go policy is followed at all times.
To ensure all food safety and quality standards are met relevant checks are completed in time.
To ensure products are packed up to the food safety and quality standards as per the specification.
To ensure that all product safety and quality related issues are dealt with and reported to the line manager.

About You:

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Microsoft office experience word, excel.
Proven experience in driving through continuous improvement activities
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Previous experience within Fresh Produce / Food Production / FMCG environment.
A keen eye for detail.
Flexible approach to work.
Good communication skills.
Behavioural safety training.
Experience with Rubicon ERP systems.
Manufacturing for UK retailers training
Lean manufacturing implementations
