Our client based in Lowfield Heath; Crawley are looking for a warehouse operative to join their team on a full-time basis.

The shifts for this role are 8.30am-5.30pm, Monday-Friday, extending to 8am-6pm during summer months.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the general duties of the warehouse including picking, packing, dispatching and receiving goods in an accurate and timely manner using an RF scanner.

Accurately pick, pack and load goods for dispatch within the published cut off times.

This will include daily delivery rounds, overnight dispatch by next day courier, picking and wrapping pallet sized orders and sending post/special post.

Serve Trade Counter customers quickly and efficiently.
Run end of day manifests.
Receive goods in to stock and locate them correctly as per the locations set up on the system.
Unload containers efficiently and safely within the allocated timings.
Assist with daily warehouse maintenance. This includes cycle counts (zoned stock counting), bin maintenance, stock replenishment and cleaning/tidying.
Maintain a safe and tidy warehouse/yard and abide by all health and safety rules and regulations.
Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
Counter balance and/or Flexi Forklift licenses an advantage but not a requirement
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with a pay rate of between £10-£10.50 per hour depending on experience.
