Working within the Sales team, ensuring all customer enquiries and orders relating to spare parts are dealt with and executed on time and to exceed customer expectations.
You will work closely with the purchasing team to ensure parts are ordered in a timely fashion, at a competitive price and dispatched to the customer on time.
Responsibilities:
- Handling inbound customer enquiries and issuing quotations and delivery dates for spare parts.
- Creating spare parts quotations for our in house manufactured automated systems.
- Processing customer orders, issuing order acknowledgments confirming prices and despatch dates.
- Ensure that all the agreed paperwork is issued accordingly in relation to orders, shipments, Customs, and other agencies.
- Handle returns or quality issues from customers & suppliers and arrange replacements, credits, or repairs.
- Coordinate, dispatch of spares packages with stores/production dept.
- Liaise with other departments within Advance to solve Customer problems.
- Identify areas of opportunity to maximise spares department potential through B2B lead generation.
- Assisting the sales team with admin tasks, quotations and customer requests.
What you will need to succeed:
- GCSE in Maths/English or equivalent
- Competent in use of Microsoft package
- Previous experience working in customer service, inside sales, manufacturing, or stores environment would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Engineering environment an advantage
