Betterclean Services Exeter is hiring for a term time cleaner to work within a team at a school in Taunton.

Hours: 2 hours per day Monday to Friday, 10 hours per week from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Working weeks:
Term times only - 39 weeks per year plus an optional 2 weeks of deep-cleaning in the summer break.
Annual leave must be taken in school holidays.

Signing Bonus:

If you are hired, then successfully complete an initial 1 month probation period and are offered permanent employment with us, you will be paid a £25 "welcome" bonus.

Your skills and experience

Experience as a cleaner or housekeeper is an advantage, particularly in school environments, but not essential as full training is provided.

Previous supervisory experience preferred.

You'll need to:

Be reliable and trustworthy, with good attention to detail
Have a positive attitude, and take pride in doing your job well
Genuinely care about delivering to the highest quality for our clients
Be organised and able to effectively lead the cleaning team
Have good communication skills

Cleaner Responsibilities

You'll be expected to:

Clean all areas to our high standards, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing.
Work safely with required chemicals, and follow a cleaning routine
Monitor your equipment and provide accurate monthly stock takes
Willingly receive regular feedback in a constructive and professional manner
Supply the contact details of at least one previous employer for a reference
Hold or be willing to undergo checks for a DBS certificate
Provide full right to work documentation
