Job Details
Liberata is committed to developing and growing its HR and Payroll services, creating a true Shared Service function which champions the sharing of best practice and working together to improve efficiency.
You will be responsible for HR and Payroll service lines, leading, motivating, advising and organising your team to ensure the successful achievement of KPIs and SLAs.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Responsible for team, ownership of work distribution and allocation of priorities
- Ensuring the team deliver to meet contractual targets and in line with
- To ensure the service is processed accurately and on time
- Maintain monthly control & reconciliation process
- Ensure team members are managed within Liberata policy and procedures
- Identify training and development needs
- Support and deliver continual process improvement with digital first approach
- Review, update and maintain office procedures and process documentation
- Support Operations Manager at meetings with the client as required
- Supports strategic HRP initiatives and projects
- Ensure handling of personnel data is compliant with GDPR
- Weekly task review and allocation meetings
- Ensure the quality of team members output meets and exceeds Liberata standards
- Conducts and document 121 performance reviews with direct reports
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Produce client KPI reporting packs
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- HR & Payroll transactional experience
- Ideally working towards a Professional qualification or an equivalent level of experience
- CIPD / CIPP
- Experience of working in Local Government authority's, including schools
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with minimum 5 grades A-C including English and Maths
- Experience\understanding in meeting service line targets
- Knowledge of service line activity of various IT systems
- Excellent organisational and relationship skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good coaching and mentoring skills
- Excellent planning and resource leadership skills
