Description
We are seeking a new team member to provide support to the operations team and technical manager, helping to facilitate the successful and timely completion of works.
Main responsibilities and activities:
- Daily liaison with the operations team in order to follow up on reactive and PPM visits to provide an efficient response to engineer reports.
- Providing regular feedback (written and verbal) to operations and technical leaders regarding all projects under their control, ensuring works are carried out on time and to the specification.
- Providing telephone technical support to customers / remote access and diagnose faults were possible.
- Delivering technical assistance and training to other engineers or subcontractors to resolve any issues during the configuration, commissioning and general use phases.
- Carrying out quality checks of works undertaken remotely or onsite as required.
- Liaising and building relationships with nominated subcontractors who are selected to carry out works to build a rapport and ensure works are carried out to the same exacting standard as our own engineers.
- Supporting customers and engineers by carrying out diagnostics via remote connections.
- Reacting to automated remote services and actioning reactive works where required.
- Liaising with suppliers on technical issues during the installation process providing clear written communication of any issues.
- Understanding nonconforming products and returns and liaising with suppliers to return products.
- Working closely with our surveyors and operational teams to achieve best in class delivery for our customers.
- Carrying out site surveys prior to proposals being generated.
- Providing specifications and drawings as necessary
- CAD / Visio experience would be beneficial.
- Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance with H&S guidelines and as per RAMS.
- Assisting with stock control and receiving / reconciling purchase orders for forthcoming projects.
The successful applicant must have a good understanding of the requirements of ISO9001, NSI and BAFE standards to ensure knowledge of these standards are kept up to date.

- Salary £28K £32K
