Finance Analyst

London, UK

£35,000 - £40,000pa (Depending on experience)

Permanent, Full Time + Hybrid working + Study Support


Our client is a global asset management company that combines their insurance heritage, investment capabilities and sustainability expertise to deliver wealth and retirement outcomes that matter most to investors.

As a finance analyst you will be a permanentmember of the Finance Revenue team, helping to ensure accurate revenue calculations and timely client billing in a highly controlled environment.

You will focus particularly on the retail products but will also support the wider client base as required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of accurate monthly revenues, including the monthly accruals and billing.
  • Help to resolve issues identified with fee accruals and billing. Ensure necessary actions are followed through and completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the activities of the offshore client billing support team.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.
  • Work closely with the FBI (Finance Business Improvement) team to ensure all system changes are tested and documented to ensure system integrity.
  • Ensure all controls are adhered to and evidenced.
  • Help with the "core" Finance teams, including the Business Partnering team, FP&A team, Consolidation & MI team and offshore Client Billing and Revenue team and relevant business area managers to assist in the understanding of the revenue streams. Work closelywith these teams to provide input into their cycles (forecasting, planning, desk profitability reviews etc.)

Requirements:


  • Studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferred).
  • Proven ability to work with large volumes of data from a few different sources.
  • Advanced Excel experience and strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience of working in a Finance function.
  • Understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Revenue specific experience preferable.
  • Previous experience within the financial services industry is preferable.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills, enabling the role holder to engage across the business, establishing & maintaining effective relationships.
  • Experience in initiating process improvements and overcoming obstacles implementing innovative solutions where applicable.
