They are developed with industry experts and professionally accredited, with live briefs and applied assessments. Working with employers is key to the School and its flexible ways of learning benefit organisations across the industry, whether that's through bespoke training modules designed to upskill employees, employer-sponsored study or apprenticeships. our facilities are extensive, with 600m2 of specialist laboratories covering almost every discipline. They include a model-making workshop, a fabrication workshop and a £1.4 million 3D Virtual Engineering Lab.


The post will be held by a skilled person who will liaise with employers to support the negotiation of the apprentice's learning needs in the workplace, and work with academics to provide coaching and support to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours, while providing support for a selected range of School tasks.


About You:


Work alongside both the Apprenticeship Office and School academics to provide proactive and reactive vocational and educational support to apprentices throughout the apprenticeship scheme.


Review The apprentices Skill Scan and job role to establish an assessment plan for achieving the Skills, Knowledge and behaviours both in the workplace and University activities over the duration of the apprenticeship.

Host End Point Assessment (EPA) initial briefings at early part of the apprenticeships and during the apprenticeship.

The aim of these is to ensure the employer, the Apprentices and key academic colleagues fully understand the EPA process, time frames and expectations.
