WHAT DOES A MASTER DATA COORDINATOR DO?- This position is responsible for supporting existing business and new product development projects by managing the creation and maintenance of master data in Bacardi core systems.

Work closely with NPD, Graphics team and across functions in new product introduction. The scope of role covers internal and external manufacturing. The role will support ongoing process improvement projects relating to SAP and MDG.


Responsibilities:


  • WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of master data in SAP, APO, MDG-PLM to support business continuity
  • Creation of ICC and IPC in MDG PLM, update BOMs, Routings, Procurement, Planning Settings (APO), Logistics, Sales and Customs and Excise data
  • Critical part in new project introduction from initial stage, understand the remit of the project with Input from the Project Manager, Supply Chain, Graphics and Packaging to ensure data requirements and timelines of the project are understood and achieved
  • Master data ownership and management of new and existing master data in SAP for Material and Production Maintenance
  • Proactively search out any data issues before go live engaging relevant functions to prevent risk to TLD.
  • Understand route cause of any data issues and take steps to resolve, identify opportunities to improve Master Data business processes across all functions.
  • Prepare system for user testing and participate in a supporting role of ongoing projects and special projects involving manufacturing/supply chain processes or systems.
  • Identifies and executes data cleanup projects to improve data accuracy
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive (and current) database enquiry system detailing mandatory requirements for KEY markets
  • Create EAN Barcodes allocated from GS1 website
  • Responsible to create Master Data Portfolio to ensure visibility to Graphics and Packaging team for project requirements
  • Use Dacore for master data readiness and ensure master data reporting KPIs are met for the site
  • On time communication business wide of any master data changes and process improvements
  • Coordinate with other local and global functions involved or impacted by data readiness/changes
  • Provide Regional Master Data team, SC team and other connected functions with any information related to local Master Data Status and value
  • Coach other teams members in best practice master data, tools and techniques.
Skills and Experience

  • THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY:

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 5 years + Experience of working within a FMCG manufacturer preferably drinks industry
  • Processes capacity to manage and coordinate multiple tasks, projects and priorities.
  • Project Management knowledge
  • Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 3 years expert SAP Knowledge particularly in master data maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of Product Life Cycle Management, MDG PLM.
  • Technical business user, or support of MM, or PP modules in SAP
  • Ability to collaborate crossfunctionally and ensure team success
  • Highly competent in Excel (advanced), macros, pivot tables, lookups etc,
  • Educational Requirements:
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain or IT, or equivalent experience.
