iON Ambulance Care are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their planning team, on a full time contract based in Thame, Oxfordshire.

This position requires an acceptable standard of English and Numeracy.The successful applicant will be based within the resource planning team at Thame and will be responsible for providing, efficient planning and organisation of staff rosters, a comprehensive level of administrative support to ensure the most effective utilisation of resources as well as covering departmental holiday & sickness abstractions.
The role will include providing all operational personnel with shifts, utilising relief staff to their full potential, liaising with Managers and Team Leaders to ensure that annual leave and abstractions are rostered correctly.
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate previous experience in an administrative or clerical position, preferably within scheduling or resource planning.
Interviews will be conducted online using Microsoft Teams. Those that are successful will then be invited to a selection day at our training centre in Thame.
Entry requirements
These are some of the criteria you will need to be successful as a planner with iON Ambulance:
- Valid UK full B category driving licence
- Good numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skills (tested at selection)
- Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness and compassion
- Sympathetic, respectful and caring attitude towards colleagues
- Flexibility and adaptability in accordance with the needs of the service
- Ability to work as part of a team.
What is the package?
- Salary: £25,000 per annum.
- Hours: 40 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern with the other members of the team. Working Monday to Friday.
- Location: Thame, Oxfordshire
- Annual leave: 20 days plus statutory public holidays.
- Shift pattern: To be discussed
