- Managing emergency appeals targeted at the small trust mailing audience.
- Leading the creation and execution of tailored appeals for the small trust audience as needed.
- Ensuring proper donor stewardship by providing updates, reports, acknowledging donations, and responding to inquiries.
- Taking charge of selected stewardship mailings within the programme.
- Supporting the development of joint appeals across the programme.
- Timely processing of invoices, maintaining accurate and complete trust records, and proper income coding.
- Providing efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the wider Philanthropy team.
- Experience in the charity sector, preferably in a fundraising role.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to write clearly, accurately, and persuasively.
- Capability to communicate complex topics in an engaging and accessible manner.
- Confidence in speaking with potential donors both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to conduct thorough desk research using a variety of resources.
- Capacity to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in database, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
- Well-developed administrative skills.
- Experience working with Trusts and Foundations, individual giving, or mid-value supporters.
- Background in an international development organization.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Salary pro-rated: £27,892
- London based equivalent: £31,684
