    About Our Client

    This is an international development charity.

    Job Description

    • Managing emergency appeals targeted at the small trust mailing audience.
    • Leading the creation and execution of tailored appeals for the small trust audience as needed.
    • Ensuring proper donor stewardship by providing updates, reports, acknowledging donations, and responding to inquiries.
    • Taking charge of selected stewardship mailings within the programme.
    • Supporting the development of joint appeals across the programme.
    • Timely processing of invoices, maintaining accurate and complete trust records, and proper income coding.
    • Providing efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the wider Philanthropy team.

    The Successful Applicant

    Essential:

    • Experience in the charity sector, preferably in a fundraising role.
    • Strong time management and organizational skills.
    • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to write clearly, accurately, and persuasively.
    • Capability to communicate complex topics in an engaging and accessible manner.
    • Confidence in speaking with potential donors both over the phone and in person.
    • Ability to conduct thorough desk research using a variety of resources.
    • Capacity to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Proficient in database, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
    • Well-developed administrative skills.

    Desirable:

    • Experience working with Trusts and Foundations, individual giving, or mid-value supporters.
    • Background in an international development organization.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems.
    • Educated to degree level or equivalent.

    • London based equivalent: £31,684
