Trainee Bookkeeper (Jobstart scheme - 25 hrs/week)
These positions were advertised previously but we are re-advertising to clarify requirements.


This will be on-the-job training covering the basics of financial record keeping including payable and receivable ledgers, bank reconciliations, payroll.

VAT compliance and management accounts.


Should there be a vacancy at the end of the training period you are likely to be offered a permanent position with our bookkeeping team which would include support for professional studies.

The eligibility requirements of the JobStart scheme are as follows:

  • You are aged between 16 and 2
  • You are not in further education.
  • You are unemployed.


The working pattern for the 25-hour week is flexible and you will be paid National Minimum wage for your age group.

This would give monthly pay for a 25hr week as follows:

Salary:
£5.28-£10.42 per hour
