We are recruiting for full time Senior Health Care Assistants to join our team at Lecale Lodge Care Home-
IMPORTANT

Duties and responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of the residents but can include:
- Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting residents, when required, with washing, toileting, dressing, undressing, and all other aspects of daily living, according to their individual needs.
- Observe the care planning needs of residents and complete daily records as instructed and in line with Company's policy and procedure
- Follow the competencybased training and under the supervision of the Unit/Home manager
- Ensure audits are completed
- Report and record any discrepancies in line with the facility medicine policy
- Ensure that staff are making the best use of the aids available in assisting residents who have limited mobility, or physical difficulties.
- Monitor and report on the condition of palliative care/end of life residents
- Promote the rights, dignity, privacy, respect, & choice to every resident when providing care.
- Support & encourage residents to maintain their independence in all aspects of daily living.
Essential Criteria
- GCSE Maths and English
- Basic IT skills
- Minimum of NVQ Level 2 with willingness to work towards NVQ Level
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- 6+ months experience in working in care
- Will be required to be signed off as competent at the induction training
- Available to work a flexible shift pattern including 1:1 support, evenings and weekends
- All Ann's Care Home Health Care Assistant staff will be required to complete and obtain a minimum 60% in Level 2 of The Deprivation of Liberty module
